Last version of SH404SEF for Joomla 2.5/3.x. I have purchased an annual plan, so updates will follow. Enjoy !

Some important elements of Joomla, including the installer, have been renamed and/or moved without a deprecation period, thus breaking the sh404SEF® installer.

Fortunately, the rest of the Joomla frontend and backend operate normally.

To fix the issue, you must update to sh404SEF® version 4.1.0 or greater.
However, since this issue is characterized by a broken installer, you will have use the following workaround (please note that the order of these instructions are important):

• Go to Module manager
• Select Administrator modules
• Disable mod_sh404sef_cpicon
• Go to Plugin manager Disable sh404SEF® system plugin
• Go to installer, install sh404SEF® 4.1
• Go to Plugin manager
• Enable sh404SEF® system plugin
• Go to Module manager
• Select Administrator modules
• Enable mod_sh404sef_cpicon
